Lynda.com: VFX Techniques: Space Scene 01: Maya Animation and Dynamic Simulation

Although our group and I are planning to do a stop motion animation using sweets and has very little to do with Space, I still found it an eye-opener for ideas for the future or even opening and closing scenes of our current video. One of the main aspects that a video needs to sustain is entertainment from the beginning to the end. Therefore I thought it would be an interesting idea to use digital techniques for the opening and closing scenes and I came across this video which contained a variety of ideas, therefore being a very helpful guide for my overall project. These specifc animations would grab the audiences' attention straight away which is our main aim, for the audience to feel a want to watch and finish our video.
